The 70's

In the ’70s he performs as a harmonica  soloist, recording and performing live with  Mina, Pino Daniele, Toquiño, Rossana Casale, Gino Paoli, Angelo Branduardi, Milva, Modugno.

With many of these singers he plays on tours in Italy as well as abroad (France, Germany, Spain, Japan, Latina America).

At the same time his passion for jazz develops. He frequently joins jam sessions at the famous “Capolinea” jazz club in Milan, his home town. He plays and records jazz with the most important international musicians (Barney Kessel, Toots Thielemans, Bud Shank, Bill Russo, Gerry Mulligan, Astor Piazzolla, Les Paul, Chet Baker, Lionel Hampton, Lee Konitz), and some Italian ones (Franco Cerri, Enrico Intra, Renato Sellani, Tullio De Piscopo).
